Set up your gear's jacks once.
A device's ports get defined per model, not per unit, so every switcher you own of that kind shares one profile. You don't enter jacks one at a time either — a port group like "SDI IN ×20" expands to SDI IN 1 through 20 on its own. A starter library covers 37 common models, so loading a shop's worth of gear is usually one button, not an afternoon.
Patch it in two clicks — and get told when it can't work.
Search your inventory, drop a device on the canvas, click a port to arm it, then click the port you're running to. That's the patch. Try to run SDI into an XLR jack and it stops you and tells you why — same for wiring two inputs to each other. The mistakes that usually show up at load-in show up at the desk instead.
Arrange it so it reads like the rig looks.
Inputs draw along the top of each box, outputs along the bottom, so signal flows down the page the way it flows through the room. Only jacks you've actually used get drawn — a 20-input switcher with six patched shows six, not twenty. Drag boxes where they belong, bend a cable around a collision, and that arrangement is what prints.
Show night: click the dead thing.
This is the part that earns its keep. Click the device that's not working and hit Signal Trace — the rest of the rig fades out, and you get a numbered list of everything upstream to check, in order, plus everything downstream that's dead for the same reason. At 7:40pm you don't need a reference drawing, you need to know what to check — and that's what this gives you.

The board hunts for a free jack, the diagram is what you print, the run list holds lengths and zones. All three read and write the same runs, so none of them can quietly disagree with the other two.
A 4-wide snake is one line
A run carries a quantity, so a multi-channel bundle stays one row instead of four near-identical ones — and still counts correctly when the cable list gets compiled.
"12× SDI 50ft" — declared once
Say what a rig needs by type and length rather than by asset tag. Any twelve matching coils satisfy it. Drop the package on a gig and it pulls what you own; anything short lands on the rent list automatically.
Builds nest inside builds
A wire package snaps into a setup, and that setup drops onto a gig. Change the package once and it's right everywhere it's used — no hunting down copies.
Bring an existing plan in by CSV
If you already planned a flypack somewhere else, paste the export — the gear lands as a setup, the cable counts as a wire package, both ready to drop on a gig. No rebuilding a rig you already worked out.
Split the cable into road cases
Tell it how many utility cases and how full to pack them, and it splits your bulk wiring type-first — power in its own box so you can point at a case and name it. Move any type between cases by hand, then print it for the shop floor.
Attach the rig, don't copy it
A gig references the build rather than cloning it, so a fix made once reaches every show using that rig. For a one-off variation, fork it for that show, and graduate it back to the library later if it turns out to be the better version.
